GBPUSA, overall mission is to help enable a community environment where young people can interact through sports and meaningful recreational activities and at the same time acquire capacity building life skills that they can rely on while working toward a better future.

 

GBPUSA – NextLevel Projects:

 

1. GBPUSA first NextLevel project is the full construction of a basketball court in the Gardnesville, Steven Tolbert estate. A full size court from the bottom up – imported rims and backboards, bleachers, male and female locker and bathrooms 

 

 2. Writing a grant proposal to generate funding.  Conduct basketball training camps for schools in disadvantaged communities to build and engrain good character in the youths as well as offer life skills in Liberia youths under a youth protection and empowerment platform.( Basketball skills + More – involving, mentoring, coaching, computer/ICT skills, entrepreneurship skills, Design, etc).

3. Organize, plan and carryout a GBPUSA basketball training and technical mission visit, from the USA to Liberia, mid next year – 2024. This technical mission team will include an all American D-League basketball trainer/coach who will conduct series of youth basketball training in Liberia, including knockout tournaments.

4. Enhance GBPUSA collaborating partnership with the Mama Jammer Ultimate Sports organization, to expand and enhance current programs including youth development capacity for youths in disadvantaged communities.
